Basically...

I am a mum of three beautiful children (a boy 11, and two girls 9 & 6), and a Learn-to-Swim teacher for babies, toddlers & kids up to 12yrs. I'm American but very proud to call Brisbane Australia my home for 7 years (my DH is an Aussie). My life has been up and down, dieting (or pregnant) for over 14 years. In 2009 using this blog I had lost 20 lbs but put some it all back on by Jan '11.

Now at the age of 30, I have found myself at my all-time highest weight at 200 lbs. I realise that I am eating myself to death. I'm not unhappy, my life is really
really good right now! But I am definitely not happy with my weight. I am dodging cameras (something I've never done before) and avoiding going out. Nothing fits, and it's only getting worse.

This August I joined Weight Watchers. The one and only diet program I haven't tried yet. Fingers crossed, this time will be the last time. Join me for a ride to find the healthier, happier me :)
